Hi! So here goes nothing...
Since September 2014 I began my first year at University, studying English Literature, and before you ask no, I do not want to be a teacher or a librarian! Prior to this I didn't exactly have much aspiration in my life, besides education and the confusion of a lifelong commitment to a career, and since arriving at University I have found myself overwhelmed with ideas and things I desperately want to do:
-TRAVEL
-Create
-Start a Blog
-Push my fitness to new levels, including Yoga!
-To continue with my Art and ever pressing creative side (As this has been put on hold due to my Literature degree).
And since having all this free time (of which I probably should have been attending seminars and lectures and writing essays), I realised I should just focus on the things that will make me happy and fill my life with FUN.
In this Blog I HOPE to inspire, and share my journey throughout these travels and new experiences!
In January 2015 I began (what some of you may have heard of), Kayla Itsines fitness guides. Having already been a frequent gym goer myself I saw it as a challenge and Having finished the 12 week guides I decided not to continue with her guides and to carve my own fitness routines and goals and to take on this challenge solo. Since finishing the guides and continuing with my own fitness regimes I have also been inspired by many other fitness aspirations as primarily at this moment, YOGA.
Having never had any form of gymnastics, dance or any kind of natural flexibility in my body whatsoever! *She realises how deluded she must sound*, I am hopeful that I will prevail in this journey and I hope to share not only that, probably rather humorous experience, but many others with you... Whoever you are, and I hope that this post gives at least one person enough of a reason to want to listen to any more ramble that comes from my mouth!
A couple of things to sum me up as an individual, I love Literature, not to sound like a complete bore! PINTEREST takes up way too much of my time that I should have spent on essays and reading classic novels... hurrah for pinterest. I am a self proclaimed instagram addict. LOVE all things art, creative, diy, jewellery, silversmithing, goldmsithing! Fashion, travel and fitness. And hopefully these will be the sorts of things that fill this blog and *as she says with incredibly high expectations and hopes*, inspires other people, in any way possible.
Thanks for reading, more posts to come that I promise will be more interesting than this one!
